We are reading about Rabbits and carrots! I have managed to get in several shorter books this last week and the kindergarten students settle in to the routine in the library. They hear stories on the benches at my feet and watch clips and trailers I have for them on the big screen. We used the document camera to read a tiny edition of The Tale of Peter Rabbit... huge? One of my favorite lines in all of literature (hooray for complex text!) "They implored Peter to exert himself"... Brass buttons get me every time.
